| Williamsburg has a first class post office with more than 850 rental boxes and four rural routes to 720 customers. We have a full time police department that includes 9 reserve officers in addition to the 6 full-time personnel. We have a diligent, hard-working volunteer fire department. | ||

The mission of the Williamsburg Public Library is to further the well-being of the community by providing materials of information and recreational interest. The library places special emphasis on current high demand, high interest materials in a variety of formats. The library also encourages children to develop an interest in reading and learning through services for young children and young adults. Ongoing cooperation with other libraries and agencies will minimize unnecessary duplication and increase satisfaction of users. The library contains various periodicals, movie rentals, access to FAX machine, copier, tax forms, large print books, audio books, best sellers and fine children's books, including the Children's Choice Books.
